Bachelor of Science (Mathematics Major)
This major started with the first year students of 2010/2011 academic year. The second and third year students continued with the old major programme.
MAJOR PROGRAMME IN MATHEMATICS
To qualify for a Major in Mathematics, a student MUST PASS ALL core courses and earn a minimum of 66 CUs from Mathematics courses and 6CUs from the cross-cutting core courses. The list of electives offered in a particular year depends on the staff available and is therefore subject to change.
Students are free to take extra courses in Mathematics to make up their degree programme requirements but should not normally exceed 72 CUs in Mathematics. All courses are 3CUs.
