The Makerere University Node coordinator fot this project is Assoc. Prof. Juma Kasozi. The project supports training of MSc students as well as PhD students. It facilitates organization of summer schools in the region. It is sponsored by International Science Programme (ISP) –Sweden and it involves five countries: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Zambia.
