The project is co-ordinated by Dr. J.M. Kitayimbwa. It will provide funding to upgrade room 204 in the Department of Mathematics into a Post Graduate Computer Laboratory with a fully dedicated server and 20 imacs. The laboratory will be equipped with Post Graduate books in Mathematical Modelling and will be directly linked to a parallel computing facility at Uganda Virus Research Institute. The grant will also purchase for the department a generator that will provide constant power supply during power shortage.
